(bolding mine, which I disagree with a little bit)

I didn't read the book. I took the practice tests and if I didn't know a question, I would refer to the book for the answer. There are 10 practice tests, which I went through about 3-4 times. Many of the facts presented in the questions were similar enough to the ones on the test that it did help with the learning of the material.
Fair enough. What I was trying to address is the approach where people try to learn all the questions and their answers by rote, and that would not be a good strategy.

(And people who've not had North-American history, politics, and geography as the focus during their school years may benefit from some of the background/context the book offers)

All,

What do we need to bring with us for the interview?

I assume, ID, Passport and PR Card. Anything else we need to bring?

Probably COPR too, and originals of any supporting documents you used in your application. Most likely the officer will focus on your passport entry/exit stamps (current and expired), he/she may have other questions related to your file prepared beforehand (that could be anything...differs from one application to another).

Please Update Spreadsheet
Test passed March 22
Decision Made March 24
Location Calgary

About the test I definitely over prepared I read the book almost 3 times and listened to the audio book once and did lots of online questions. Reading the book twice would probably be enough but I’m glad I did over prepare because now I’m filled with all this knowledge about Canada.
Before the test started they asked everyone to write down any travel dates they have booked in the next 4 months so I assume no oath date will clash with applicants travel.

Good luck to the rest now I wait for my oath invite
Me too from Calgary and having my test next month
Please did u look up names of political leaders in Calgary
The book did not mention that
