Hi friends,

I send an email last tuesday to immigration office enquiring about the status of my application. I mentioned that i have been waiting for more than 3 weeks since my online status changed to " Decision Made".
This morning i got the following reply:-

A letter was sent to you on May 29th regarding the decision made on your file.

Please check your main and junk folders and advise if you have not received this letter.[/b]

Now i have told them to resend the email requesting passport.
Hence , i would request all friends who are patiently waiting for passport request to email the visa office at the earliest.

Hey thanks for the info, I just sent them an email addressing the matter.
I mentioned what you guys have written here, and asked them to send me the PPR again if they have already sent it once, cause I did not received anything, but if not, I asked them to give me an update.

Welcome back, hope you had a nice trip. There have been a few cases recently where the PPR mail was sent by CIC but was not received by the applicant. You might want to follow up with CIC just to confirm whether they had sent it or not.

I just sent an email, asking for an update, and possibly a resend for PPR (if they have done it once)

Did you guys get the auto reply email after sending the message to CIC? I didnt get it (my file is being processed by CIO Sydney), I wonder if I made a mistake when typing the email address (CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca) ... just want to make sure before I resend a message to CIC. Thanks

I got the Passport request today in the afternoon. My medical was uploaded on May 20. I hope everyone who are waiting for PPR will get their PPR soon. Good Luck everyone.

I received Medicals on May-3 and completed medicals on May-6th and RCRF fees paid on 8th of May. From that still no further communication, I am waiting for PPR. Does any one having similar situation. I applied from INDIA via attorney in Canada. I asked my lawyer but he responded , PPR time line will vary from country to country, but normally it will take 4-8 weeks. I have read some where in this forum like 60-days theory.
Is any one know about this 60day theory ?

Hi Meetvetri,

There is absolutely no 60 days theory, that is rubbish. All you can do is to wait like the rest of us. We are all on the same boat. My timeline is similar to yours. So stay patient and keep your chin up. Ours will come soon.

By the way, there is no harm in enquiring about your application. Try to send an email and see what you get.
