Hi Nick_sam,

My husband is a contract worker, he is not in a visitor visa. I sponsored him under the live in caregiver program and we both hold an open work permit at this time while we wait for our permanent residence to be approved.

Hello i just read your update info in this forum !!!congrats to u !!!i have a question hope u have time to answer ,i am a live in caregiver too Ive submitted my pr application and OWP application Jan 13,2010 they started processing in mach 2010 ,still waiting for confirmation and owp .I got a letter from CIC with a form to fill up (client update info) did u receive d same from b4 u get ur owp?thnks!!

hello,every one...still no update on ours...may idea kayo what to do,kasi its been 6 months since lc2 form was sent to embassy in the philippines..and until now wala pa ring medical request..whats the best way kaya to make a follow up????pls....help!!!!!!!thanks...

You should hear from them by say another 8 months cos it takes 15 months for the second stage.

hi Lai,
You and me are in the same time line. My family didn't get any update yet. I hope to get TRV and go backhome for a vacation in April. Do you think it is not a good idea? It is my daughter's first communion. So I want to be there. After 3 1/2 years I am going to see my daughter. These days I am work on my TRV documents.

hi guys im so jealous about those who submitted their application in 2010 bacause they already finished all upto the medical request in a year but i sent mine last 2009 and until now my family havent receive any medical request....how are these thing possible....naakainip na....ok lang maghintay kung tapos naang mediical...but as long as hindi pa namememdical i still dont have the peace of mind that i cn be reunited with my husband and daughter..pls pray fr me..and can somebody help me know if there is an email address where i can sent a follow up letter?ilang months nalang ay15 months na but i dot think mtatapos ang process ko in 15 months dahil wala pa ngang medical..ang alam ko yung 1 month tapos na ang 2nd stage approval dapat..pero dont seem like its happening to my vase...pls enlighten me...need a little push hre...thanks....

KINDLY SEE MY CASE HERE:FRUSTRATING I NEED HELP!!!!!

On May 18 of 2010 my husband was then asked to complete the application kit and on June 28 of 2010 he already submitted the application kit. After completion of the said documents, the Embassy of Canada notifies him on July 21 of 2010 that the application kit was already received and they gave us the file number,ai can still check the status online.(it proves that they received the lc2 kit)

August 9 of 2010 another letter was received by mu husband, asking him to submit an NBI Clearance & by August 23 of 2010 it was then submitted to the Embassy for proper examination.

And by completion of the necessary documents the Embassy of Canada issued a "LAST WARNING" letter that my husband failed to comply, but in fact he complies all the necessary documents.

LETTER:MARCH 23. 2010 "LAST WARNING" says......
ON MAY 18 2010 YOU WERE ASKED TO COMPLETE AN APPCATION KIT AND RETURN IT ALONG WITH ALL APPROPRIATE RECORDS AND FORMS TO THIS ODDICE WITHIN 60 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THAT LETTER. TO0DATE,OUR RECORDS INDICAE THAT YOU FAILED TO RESPOND AND SUBMIT THPPLICATION AND CORRESPONDING RECORDS/FORMS.

YOU NOW HAVE 30 DAYS TO PROVIDE ALL THE RQUESTED INFORMATION AND APPLICATION KIT
NOW GUYS TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK?AND I NEED HELP HERE

@lai-what happen are they receiving your mail ? you have to make a follow up in the embassy if I were you

Did your husband send the requested documents and did he make copies of the docs he sent? Call them up or send a fax informing the embassy that your husband had sent such documents at such date.
