Cant be as bad as mine.

I called CIC to inquire as a lot of people here have received AOR after me (mine was recieved on the 21st) and they told me the application is on hold due to missing information, but they didnt send me an email so I'm guessing it's coming from snail mail. They said the "communication" was issued on Feb 12th and she was not sure whether it was email or snail mail.

I originally submitted our application at the beginning of September. There was one document missing, which we didn't know. A few weeks later we got a letter in the mail (snail mail) requesting this document and we sent it right away. All in all we lost about two months with all this as when we finally got AOR it was stated that our application was received November 5th. I hope it's not your case... It was disapponting, to say the least. But anyway, in the end everything took its course and now we are at stage2 at the VO, waiting...

valmiri, we both have the same timing: app. received Nov 25th and AOR received on Feb 18th… let me know when you are able to check your ECAS, please!!! thanks and good look.

Thus is the life in regards to CIC.. . I applied in February of 2014 and applicants from July 2014 were getting COPR and landing before me.

there were issues with your application, those who landed before you had straightforward cases with no application issues. it's not really 100% accurate to say CIC was the sole reason it took so long to approve your application and that's "just how it is with CIC". your situation was certainly out of the norm.

Hmm I just checked it (nothing as of today)..Maybe tomorrow.
For sure I will keep each other up to date haha omg hopefully a miracle happens and this process goes through fast..

Don't worry about the ECAS guys i was only avle to check mine some days after i got SA so i guess it depends

Now I started thinking of all possibilities....What if Canada post hasn't delivered the package, what if CIC lost it! What if they sent me an Email but wrong Email, what if .... I am getting frustrated too...I know for sure I don't have any missing documents...I checked them 100 times...Lets hope for tomorrow... I will call them on Monday...you should too...

Hey guys I also applied on Nov 25th and still nothing I can't call cuz I'm now in Tanzania visiting my husband is there another way to be able to contact them? I'm trying to stay patient but as some others from Dec are getting theirs its very hard not to worry.
