Amen oo. I am going to 12weeks since I applied. But the webform I raised said my application is still in progress
I wonder what's taking so long if the file is with the officer for review already.
From what I heard there are various factors to be considered before they make final decisions.
Ya I know that but my eligibility and background check started on 29 September and it's been more than a month already.
Background check can take a long time especially if you are not in your country of citizenship. The officer isn’t going to continue with eligibility review if background check is not completed. So officer may have opened your file and then put it aside if they know background check will take some time. Starting review doesn’t mean an officer is reviewing your file daily. They may open many files per day, and then it triggers your file to state review started.
So does that mean they only send medical request form when background check and eligibility are completed?
