Hi Experts,
My name is Ravi and I am from India.
I have recently received invitation to apply for PR under Canadian experience class but my concern is I had 2283 as my primary code when I submitted my express entry profile as NOC code was not shown in my Work permit document as it was just saying "Test specialist-Test consulting". I just put the NOC code based on the roles and responsibilities that I was performing while I was working in Canada. Later during the process of collecting supporting documents, I found out a letter that was sent to Visa office for processing a Work permit in which it says "Test Specialist- Test consulting, NOC#2171".
I tried contacting many people and also sent an email to BAGLR-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and noc@workingincanada.gc.ca but no response.
So please let me know if I can use 2171 as my NOC code for submitting PR application even though I have 2283 in Express Entry profile? Can you please let me know if this could lead to rejection of my application or can I go ahead and submit my PR profile as I have all the documents ready. I found that both 2283 and 2171 have similar job roles that lead to have this confusion.
I could not contact CIC customer care -18882422100 since I am currently in India.
Your help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
ravinara
