new post graduate work permit rules..

hi.. guys.. my course is 8 months long.. it will finish in may 2013.. so, i was wondering that how long my work permit would be.... i mean, will i get 1 year work permit or 2 years work permit... because i have heard that according to the new rules for post graduate work permit which will be released in january 2013, all the international students who have 1 year course... will get 2 years work permit... is that true??? please anyone has any information regarding that please do inform me... thnks in advance.. any kind of information will b much appreciated....

current post graduation rules that 8 months course will get minimum 8 months up to 1 yr post graduate work permit only.
if you have 2 yr study permit you will get 3 yr work permit
