This is going to be such a cluster. I feel for all of you that plan to apply. Good luck.

Honestly I feel safer applying under CEC as all the requirements are mentioned clearly. With the TR to PR pathway, we have no idea and are going in blind. I wonder if the processing times will be really long as IRCC is probably still figuring what exactly to do.

What a mess, the PDF doesn’t seem to say anything new other than we’ll need a dedicated portal account
Yeah no, I didn't get that info from PDF, someone took notes from the Q&A and mentioned it... now there's even hearsay going around about a potential ranking of applicants by level of education and IELTS scores?? there are all sorts of rumors going around. Be careful everyone. Rely only on official announcements.

Do you know where the notes from the Q&A is? Any info would be useful

These are notes: NONE OF THIS IS CONFIRMED, so please just take it with a grain of salt.

• work on study permit will be considered as valid experience
• minimum 1 year (at 30 hours a week) that adds up to 1,560 hours like CEC for essential worker stream.
• language is part of eligibility - test results are mandatory
• Police certificate needed. If you couldn't get them, efforts must be made - upload what they have (with an explanation if needed)
• temporary resident status is a must
• If the work permit expires while PR processing (there might be kind of a bridging work permit which they will come up with in the future)
• The app (portal) is for the client (representative option is not there)
• IELTS General (not academic)
• Can apply on implied status
• Family members inside/outside Canada can also be included in the application
• Application fee - 1050 (including RPRF)
• RPRF - mandatory upfront
• Self-employment does not count as experience (except doctors in some cases)
• Upfront medical exam - not mandatory (if they have it, needs to be submitted)
• Must be currently working, not just employed
