New Delhi Passport Tracking Thread

Hi,
As per CAIPS notes received few weeks ago my BC was in progress.
I sent a letter to CSIS to get the status of BC. They reply me in 2 months. They said " we received request from CIC for screening <1 June 2011> and advived on <25 Jul 2011>. now is CIC wjo need to take the decsion. my medical is expiring in a week and still waiting to recie ve my passports back. i will wait for a week and send a letter to CIC to return my passports (1 yr with them). Is it good to ask them to return passports. this will help me to travel.....
This is an update from my side. Ecase is still inprogress.

You are great, I mean, its really difficult to wait for such a long time. Very sorry that your medicals are expiring in a week. But still you have seven days in your hand. Nobody knows, that you may get a call from NDVO regarding your visa offer. Best of luck! ;D ;D

I got my PR on 17th September,2010 alongwith my husband who lives in USA.After getting it,I sent my hubby's passport through courier.But unfortunately,the passport was put on hold at Mumbai custom office with the fact that Indian passports can not be couriered like this and it is illegal.My hubby and I are deeply worried about its consequences.
Here I want to ask to the experienced members of this forum that what will the custom office take action against me and my husband?What should be done at our side so that we can get my hubby's passport back?
and last but not least,what are the safe ways to send him passport to USA so that he can come back to India and can celebrate this Diwali with us?
Pls help me guys it's really a crucial period.Thanks.

i see in the spread sheet that most of the cases last year, who got visas are from manila. i also heard from the thread that newdelhi vo quota has been filled. this may be a romour.

when i link both its seems connect well.

After 6 months of my pp submission and more than 6 months after medicals completed, these guys are ndvo a bunch of ********* tell me that they cant find my sons medical reports. Though I am proud to be an Indian but i am really sorry to says Indians working even in consulates are a bunch of useless fools and irresponsible to the core.

Im stuck now till the time they find the reports or send another medical examination form. Im sure they will try to save their backside and wait till the medicals of all of us expire in march and then ask us to redo the medicals.

They have have found nice way to communicate their mess "by phone call" and not send an email cause then that becomes documented.

Do see your address in ecas - was it always there or was missing sometime ? Since you have never been overseas why are they taking so long in your case ? how is your case different - honestly I am also getting worried for mine !!

Mine address is missing from last 2 weeks. There is nothing special in my case, as this is ordinary one. My FTH is nil. As per the Caips notes, my application is under security check ups. Dont know, how much time it will take?

My address also has reappeared today almost after about 3 weeks. Earlier once in August also it went missing for about 2 weeks. It looks like a spam and nothing seems to happen after missing address. I mean they are not taking out the address for updating our status. Do not know really why it goes missing off and on. Since we are anxious we keep checking and make some conclusions I feel.

Did not see much DM in August. Anyways I hope all of us will hear positive news from CHC by September end atleast.

Maybe they were just getting some routine work done.
