hello guys
I hv a query...just checked ecas and now its update my current mailing address. ...first it was my lawyers address. .
but problem is they write everything correct but they miss to write PUNJAB on my address like-

jalandhar
(PUNJAB missing)
india.

SO NOW WHAT CAN I DO...WITHOUT IT MY PASSPORT REACHED TO ME ....OR NOT..

Hi rksandhu, how long did it take to see the change of mailing address from your lawyer to urs in ecas after sending an email to NDVO to change ur address. We sent an email for the change of mailing address for my wife's old house to new almost 6 weeks ago and still her ecas shows same old address.

With ur issue. I wouldn't worry that much as majority of them know it's in punjab, but just to be on the safe side I would email NDVO regarding this.

email is not helpful in my case..bcoz I received phone call on 3rd Nov after 4 days now 4.30 pm my ecas changed to my address. .so I think they already dispatched my passport. ..bcoz we all know ecas changed after few days. ...

why didn't u call them. ..maybe they will help...

hahaha yeah sure come to jalandhar then we all vill party together. ..
thanks for ur comforting words..on the safe side I already asked my local postman uncle. ..he knows my in-laws family for so many years so if any problem creats then he will handle it...

I would appreciate if anyone can let me know usual processing time for permanent resident application after online status say they started processing file at local visa office at New Delhi, India.

Hello friends I need some advice urgently.I was filed my application on 4 april 2013.after interview they refused my case.then i was filed an appeal in IAD canada.then they fixed my ADR date on 18 Nov 2014 they also send a letter about the intimation date of ADR hearing.i was sent my all documents to my lawyer some day ago.but today my lawyer says they are not satisfied with my case.they said this case is not fit for ADR.They said this case is fit for full hearing.what is this if my case was not fit for adr why they send me a adr hearing letter.any suggestion ?

corrently few Jan & Feb guys along with March and April guys are getting IP, DM and visas...

so processing time is 7-9 months for "straight forward" cases....

God only know what the critiera for Straight forward cases are....
