Guys, OMG moment for us....we received PPR yesterday... In the email they mention to see the VFS global website to transmit the passport to New Delhi.....however, VFS centre is not available in Surat and the nearest one is in Mumbai....Do we really have to use VFS or any other courier to submit...

Thanks Karan for clarifying with me! I am planning to take my wife back with me when I go to Canada by end of Jan....Hope we recieve PPR soon so that I don't need to reschedule my return ticket. Hope you receive your visa soon!

Hi Guys, omg moment for us.....we checked today and our status changed to DM from IP :), but still no PPR :(...... is this normal to get DM before PPR? Also, we all don't want an Interview. However, I am a bit confused..... does DM means we will receive the visa OR there will be an interview...

Thanks Karan for the quick reply! We already sent them two emails with URGENT typed in the email. The first email we sent a cover letter for the request but they responded back to send them a scanned copy of the form with signature for the address to be changed. So we sent them the signed form...

Hi, what's ur application number. Since u got IP, just curious if they are picking up files based on. Application number. Mine is between 76850 to 76875. It would be great if everyone whose status changed from AR MR to IP can check there's and let us know....u don't. have to give the exact file...

I am not sure about this number thing as mine is in 30000's.....if what u r saying is correct than I am a lot worried now :(

I can totally understand! Me and my wife sometimes think ke looking at ecas and emails to see for updates makes us more upset as there are no updates and we keep trying to think positive but worried if something was wrong with our files....

Hi Yama, did you get ur PPR right after AR MR i.e was there any change in ur status to IP and DM after AR MR or straight PPR?

I am also a May applicant and still on AR MR. Just wondering if there where any. Applicants who directly got passport request or DM after AR MR without ecas status changing to IP

Congrats buddy! I also applied for my wife on 5th May and got sponsorship approval on June 27 (not July like you) but still status is AR MR....so frustrated and WORRIED....hope everything is alright as we submitted lots of proof (call logs, around 150 pictures of my two trips in india, bills...

Still AR/MR and we applied on 5th May.... really not sure if they pick up files randomly, from batches (1st batch May 1 to May 7, 2nd batch May 8 to May 14 and so on....), or worst with weight of application (lesser documents n sufficient proof gets priority).if that's the case then God help...

The above statement coming from an expert made me worry even more as ours is stil AR and MR, and don't want to be in an interview queue. But, we ALL wouldn't mind at all to be in the visa queue. P.S. MANY MANY CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE VISA :)

Guys, I am so tensed and frustrated now. We applied on 5th may and still shows AR/MR on ecas. Iam happy for so many ppl who got their status changed from AR to the next steps. Many of the mid and end of may applicants got PPR request and we didn't....hope ganeshji bless us all and have us...

Hi rksandhu, how long did it take to see the change of mailing address from your lawyer to urs in ecas after sending an email to NDVO to change ur address. We sent an email for the change of mailing address for my wife's old house to new almost 6 weeks ago and still her ecas shows same old...
