arrived in Toronto...one suggestion if you got your visa and you are able to take your trip in summer then do it in summer. It is cold here and it is just the beginning. Much better time to open bank account; apply for health care card; driving test etc is summer.

Hello frnz.. I am flying on 15th November with British airways from delhi to london and then from london to Montreal. From Montreal my airlines is changing to Air Canada for Toronto. I suppose my immigration will be done in Montreal itself and I will have to check in my luggage again with Air Canada. Could you all please help me with your advice as to what kind of questions do they ask in immigration and also I just have 2 and a half hours for immigration and checking in my luggage again. Is it enough?? Coz I heard fem someone that Montreal officers are really rude and take alot of time one tends to miss their connecting flight. Im so tensed.. pls help..

hi neha..congrads finally.i live in montreal.saw ur post just now.i dont knw u will b able to see my msg before u fly. if ur ticket is booked delhi to toronto then u just forget about interview or whatever in montreal. montreal is just a transit for u. ask ur airline where u can collect ur lugguage. 100% i am sure that u can collect ur lugguage in toronto. u may meet a CBSA officer just to show ur passport and visa. immigration office is located after the initial canadian border security office. if u r in transit then brtish airways will not b giving the small landing form to fill out during ur journey to montreal coz ur final destination is toronto

BUT if u have booked ur ticket " delhi to montreal" then u chose air canada as a second booking ( domestic ticket) then u may face immigration officer in montreal.

congrats rk sandhu.. finally god blessed. i have been intermitently going thru this blog. am in canada, landed in sep. received PR card after 40days. everything is expensive here guys. u earn u spend. thats the logic here. get all the necessary things when u travel frm india.

Hey guys.. I reached Toronto. Immigration went too smooth.. They didn't ask me a single question also hehe in Montreal. He spoke in English not french as I thought and just asked me to put my initial n signature n no questions at all. I was done in 5 min and thus easily boarded my Toronto flight after that... all the best to everyone
