Thanks W2E,.i got one month for medical expiry.hope they do something by then.
one doubt..what does this due date stands for?
As per my notes,application status : Open & application status reason: in progress and ecas still shows application received...also under client details last updated shown on 5th august2014 with medical passed,criminality & security not started.

everyone seems to be stuck with this criminality and security check..unfortunately those checks are handled by private agencies and NDVO has no control over the speed of processing (not that NDVO would do a faster job if they handle it themselves)...since the status is 'in process' and they have passport, it is possible you might get visa before medical expiry date...I think due date is the date that they would look at your file again if they have not received the documents (criminality and security checks results) by then...

Hi All,

I am Nov 7,2014 Applicant still app received ,nothing else,Got my notes week before, Here what its says , recommend interview waiver ,file , supporting document and photos are reviewed , the PA and sponsor are compatible.the wedding was held in according to culture norms .photos are seen and appear to show a good comfort level.apply another notes couple of days before . most of the things shows not started. due date says 29-08-2014, medical expireing first week of oct.

interviewer waiver means no interviewer....not sure how long your criminal and security background checks will take...it is possible that NDVO may miss the medical expiration date and depending on how long the delay is they might extend the expiration date and ask you to leave soon otherwise you may be required to do medicals again...

most of them unless remedicals shows TB, HIV or communicable disease..in which case they are asked to get cured and get clearance from doctor before issuing visas...

whoever is affected by the long delays, just send me a sentence or two indicating how long you have been waiting for the visa and how you are affected (e.g. it has been a year since my son seen his father and he cries every time when he talks to his dad....or without knowing when i will get my visa i am not able to plan to get a family member to take care of my parents when I move to Canada...) something strong would be good...and not ' i don't know when i can give notice to my employer without knowing when i will get visa' ..send me your stories and i will try to write up something....

Hello guys, I have filed my application for my wife and I am living in canada. My status have been changed from permanent resident to Citizen noww.. Do i need to notify NDVO ? about this change ?
