my wife and kid application went in-process from aug 2nd.

> Application received: December 18, 2013.
> PPR -> Note I didn't receive PPR, however sent passport of wife + kid to delhi and mailed them -> got reply (after 2 months) that they received and added in the file.
> In Process - Aug 2nd - 2014

Keep faith...i am sure you shall also go through.
I know how hard it is to leave your beloved ones and come here.

Karthi, do you know when your ECAS status changed? Was it over the weekend or on Monday or just today?

Deepends on the VO office you apply. Ottawa timing is very quick. NY is slower i hear. Please check.

I am applying to New Delhi Visa Office. I am concerned how long does the Visa office keep your passport.

FYI:
I have added a sheet in "Updated New Delhi Applicants - 2013" with the name "Status" (https://docs.google.com/a/webcube.ca/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArjKIJSYT22GdDVSZ0JReGtVa25fMERwcXNkaklnLUE#gid=38)

This sheet counts the number of Applicants, Sponsorship Approvals, PPRs, ADRs, IPs, Interviews, DMs, and VISA issued to applicants for each month.
Hope some of us, and 2014 applicants might find it helpful to track where NDVO stands.

Hello there,

I have been waiting for my passport since last 8 months now. I have been checking the immigration website regularly and it's the same ( medical reports received )

My wife has applied for me as a spouse visa and I wanted to know the approx wait time for the passport to arrive.

It was sent on dec 24th and received on dec 26th 2013 by the Delhi immigration office.

Now when I checked It yesterday it says that medical reports have been received.

What will be the next step and when can I expect my passport so I can travel.

Appreciate your help

they just started processing dec applicants (very few though)...normally it takes 10 months to 1 year to get passport with visa....

Nope, OCT 22nd applicant here. No updates after 'Application Received'. Do not know if they received medicals.
No red flags; MP replied on the same day with a generic email. Medicals expiring in September.
I have decided to start stressing only after the 13 month mark is up.

actualy my medical has expired on 11may2014,, i cant stop myself of taking stress.. Dnt knw whn will we get good news... Gud luck for u too

Not only on Tuesdays...... It is updated anytime during the week and on weekends also...

Yes...it can be updated any day of the week....to show latest update...

App received.24 july 13.
interview : 19 may 14
medical dome ; 2 june 14
IP; 20 May.
PPR : 2 june 14.

We did inquiry at NDVO through our lawyer and they reply on d next day of email and said your file is awaited for further review...hope will get visa very soon...

Hello everybody.. I just got my notes but i don't understand about the recommened interview. It just states whatever I wrote in the application. And also states that my husband has a sister born in India in 1991 so what? He is 3 years elder to her... I don't get what's wrong with this... And then there is a big paragraph of our situation how we got married... I don't understand what they mean by this...then no previous marriage or relationship... Its so irritating...

Does anyone think that NDVO is just trying to show their efficiency by just giving IP to december applicants. So that they can show the government that they have almost finished 2013, however they still havent given any DMs yet for past one month except for medical expiry cases.
I was the first one from December to get IP one month ago and still waiting for DM and so as other members of the forum who got IP around the same date.
