Sorry! I am yet another silent observer of this forum Just checking again you're an 10th sep applicant wasn't it 15th aug?I too had filed my application on 15th aug 2013 but our papers got returned twice(sign missing and cra form request) because of which ecas mentions "we received your application for permanent residence on 16th sep.
We have somewhat similar dates mine SA 27th sep...Passport Req 24th Oct which was sent on 28th Oct.Medical done 06th august 2013.

I had filed my application on Aug 15, 2013 but our papers got returned because of sign missing. Now, on my e cas it is showing we received your application for permanent residence on September 10, 2013. And yes our timeline are almost similar. And don't you it won't take couple of months to get visa. It will hardly take 15 to 30 days to get our visa. Keep smiling always

Congrats to all who got DM..
This is very disappointed that still many August applicants are still waiting..I'm soo much de-motivated, 10th months is already passed and still Waitng.. No IP or DM..
They all who to waiting including me..

I wish we all get visa too.. N start up our new life.. This pang of separation is very hard..

Most of August applicants got DM unexpectedly( Including me ) !! calm down buddy everything will be all rite .. just wait and watch NDVO work slowly. but they work at least

if my timeline is a guide, you will see something happening all of a sudden - applied may 2013; waited until apr 2014 to know that interview recommended (till then 4 times notes showed 'nothing started'); may 2014 interview and now waiting for visa....it took 11 months to see 'interview recommended'...so if you have not applied for notes to see if an interview has been recommended or not then do so quickly..otherwise wait for that one day for things to change dramatically...

being 28 Oct applicant, when it is advisable to apply for notes? Applying now, might show initial review pending I guess...

I was really hopin atleast a few sep applications would go into in process today.. my god the wait is terrible.. July 15th is our 1st anniversary.. I was hoping NVDO would give us the gift of being togethe.. now my hopes are diminishing October applicants... u think we hav a chance?
