Hello Friends,

Congratulations to all who got DMs and passport returned. Wish you a great life ahead. For the ones waiting, I can say the wait is killing to be with our loved ones and i hope we all get speedy visa!
I am a June applicant and have applied for notes a month back from now but still haven't received it. Could someone please help me with the email at which i can enquire about the same? Thanks in advance.

for some people it takes 35 to 40 days.....wait for few more days and check spam folder in case it has gone there....did you apply for electronic reporting?

Thanks for the reply W2E. Yes, we applied by the electronic reporting. I had read in this thread sometime back that after 30 days if you send them a email they send it to you right then, but having hard time finding that post now..lol.. Even a days wait is like a month now. Hope they send us the notes soon, being blank and having no clue whats going on is the worst feeling

Restricted Items:

In accordance with the General Conditions of Carriage and the IATA DANGEROUS GOODS REGULATIONS, the following items are absolutely forbidden for carriage as checked or unchecked baggage both by passenger and crew since these articles are dangerous to flight safety:

Compressed gasses (flammable, non-flammable and poisonous) such as aerosols, camping gas.
Explosives, ammunitions, fireworks and flares (except sporting firearms which doesn’t exceed 5kg of ammunitions per passenger and a max of 2 rifles).
Ethologic agents (chemical reagent).
Flammable liquid and solids such as (lighter, matches, paints, thinner).
Corrosives ( such as acids , alkalis, wet cell batteries … etc )
Irritants
Knives, daggers, swords...Etc
Oxidizing material (bleaching powder...etc)
Radioactive material
Miscellaneous hazardous goods (such as mercury, noxious materials, magnetized materials or offensive material)
Briefcases with installed alarm devices or that are lithium battery operated.

For customers traveling to or from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, it is prohibited to carry the following medicine (such as Tramadol, and the lebraks and Rovamesan) which are included in the list of drugs, so as to avoid the arrest and deportation of their respective holders.

For further information about the other types and definitions of baggage, please refer to the nearest EGYPTAIR sales office.

Oh kk dont worry im pretty sure they look at your medical expiry date and will give you good news soon. Btw what is your medical expiry date? March 13? Its only one month and half isnt it?

I have done my medical on March 13, 2013. They didnt specify any validity date for medicals in my GCMS. I think they might extend one or two weeks if needed.

I totally understand the worry. 28 days is what they give as an average to reply if they deem it necessary but I am sure they would see your email way earlier than that.

Your other option would be to contact your MP and ask them to send communication directly to NDVO stating the issue. You may have quicker result through MP. You have to ask them to contact NDVO not some call centre for a general update.

My hubby had sent an email to MP. They replied him and asked to fill the consent and sent back. But he told there should be some witnes for it, so waiting till tuesday. :'(
