I visited my wife for a month and Just now landed in Toronto the plane is still in the runway.... Called my wife and found out she got the passport back with a Shiny visa....
Thanks for everyone It was a pain and suffering which came to an end..... Good luck with everybody.
Wish it came a day or two back she would have come with me...

I dont think so.... but to be on the safer side...just write ur DOB on the back of 6 photos and send 6 photos without it..
It doesnt cost much and gives u peace of mind from this dilema....

How to update the timeline, in the signature...I see many ppl with that, mine doesn't show me any edit tab in account/profile.

The below is an experience of a friend of my in-laws....

'He applied for his family in March2013, and their passports were going to be expired in November2013. He started getting worried and then few days back he got a a call from embassy, stating that , they would like return the passports so that he can get them renewed and then send them back....Looks like they are gonna issue a visa but on a renewed and longer period Passport..'

So things def are moving for sure...Hope for the best folks...

Not an answer for your question but just wanna say that, my timeline is similar as urs... And still no updates....

I also wonder does applying for GCMS really helps?
Is it just for our satisfaction of knowing about what is happening or does it help in acceleration of the case....

I am assuming that, the embassy reaches to us in email and also post, if there is any critical updates/requests....
Or is it like we'll come to know only in these GCMS notes?
