if the office was completely shut off, why would my wife get a call from ndvo last week? doesnt seem logical to me at all, also regarding the passport what do u want them to do? return the passport back to u without visa? and then when the time comes to actually get the visa, request back for it?

It will seem logical when you clearly read what I said. " New Delhi office has both Canadian and other nations working there and not sure if the other people are working."

And regarding the passport I want them to request PP when it is in final stage like other offices.

Thats very bad news... Most of us are in similar situation as of yours. I am one among them.
Generally, it shouldn't take more than 1 month. For me I applied twice and both the times I got report in exact 1 month. So probably you should get your GCMS report today. If not then may be tomorrow you will get report. If not, then send them a mail regarding your request. Also check your spam mails too. Some times it may go to your spam box.

congratulations, Tapas....I am at a loss trying to figure out why NDVO has not asked my passport yet....File was transferred on June 19...any other May applicants waiting for passport request from NDVO?

Just email them if you have not got your GCMS notes within specified time it's taking long time because of strike. I have applied on 11th July.

I have not also got PPR yet and there are also some other March, April applicants who have not got PPR as well, have you ordered your GCMS notes?

I didn't even bother with all this, I just bought a Canadian Birth Certificate from someone and then applied for a passport, It costed me 500 dollars. The guy I got it from was someone named Jann. I payed 500 through western union and after 2 days I got my Canadian documents and flew here with no issues. Dont waste your time applying through the government. They wont help you if your Chinese. Jason Kenney is a racist.

My wife is planing to visit India in the month of Oct for 3-4 month. Do you think it will be a any issue with my current spouse case.

She wants to celebrate her first karwa chouth with me and I hope during her visit my file should also processed.

I've seen many topics where members has suggest do not visit for longer time but i didn't seen any official information regarding this.

My case is straight forward and didn't face any problem yet. What you think Pl suggest.....

Actually it is good if u n ur wife are together for long time I know many couples they were together at NDVO office on their interview n straight away they got visas issued.

We never received any call from ndvo. No update in e-cas, it still shows in-process. We are Oct, 2012 applicant and spouse medical is expiring on Sep 8.

I wish good luck to all of you to get your visa soon.
