In my case also it was Canada's mailing address, you just need to send them a 'signed' letter requesting to change ur mailing address in India.

I am Shilpa n wesubmitted our application in march 2013. Rcvd ppr in may nw the ecase shows two status aplication recieved and decision made. But no status as med recieved. Also there aretwo UCI one fr meand other for my husband. Wealwayschck with myhusband's uci. Nw theques cn I also chckecase with my uci, I tried once n itshowed no results found. My husband isPR there and I am principal applicant. We hvnt revievd ny news till nw due to strike I guess...

Hi Shilpa, yes u can see ur file stats by using ur UCI number and details all u have to do is you have to write down your full name in the box where its saying "write your surname". Do write your full name and then u will be able to see ur stats.

Try it with your file number that starts with F000*****

In that case they will send u an email to send them ur mailing address in India as by Indian Law, they say they cannot mail pp outside country. So it wud be better if u update ur mailing address before they req u to do that to avoid any delays.

Hi shilpa. That's right. You will be able to see two status when you open the page. One status for Sponsorship Application Status and the other for Permanent Residence Application Status. So if I am not wrong you are seeing decision made status under Sponsorship Application Status and application received under Permanent Residence Application Status. To see medical received you will have to click on application received status link under Permanent Residence Application Status. Check it out and inform .

Are your the sponsor or sponsored spouse....Assuming you are the sponsored spouse in India if you login with your credentials or check your status from sponsor's login..what is the address showing up there.

I am feeling so excited now. My heartbeats are so fast. Can't wait anymore to see that change. It will be like some great boon given by God!! But, I know I have to be patient because everyone's case is treated differnetly.

I checked it about a week or 2 ago. It has always been application received, so because of the strike I only check e-cas like once every few weeks.
It says they started working on his file on August 7th. I just hope that it's a quick DM! And not months like some others.

If I can have my hubby here with me by end of September it would make my kids so happy. Both birthdays of our kids in September.

Quite happy right now. We were married in India and lived together for almost 4 years before I moved to Canada and we have two beautiful kids. I hope this makes our case straight forward, because we have a religion difference and culture difference. LOL
