Hi all
I just want to know since the strike is going and we have filed our application since january what will happen as our police clearance will get expired cos the police clearance also has the validity of 6 months or so. n if they ask back again..its not our problem its there problem then why do we keep redoing things.Pls suggest.

Not only a change in a date we need a change in their mind too.
many of us Suffering for no cause, separate for no cause, nobody is here to blame, nobody is here to solve, TB & PAFSO have no single understanding about the delays, about the mental pain which we are facing just for them, what benefit we will get out of your strike, it's all PAFSO or TB who is in Game, but most of the people who have applied for immigration they are landed with wait, Pain, Delay & distance is there’s anybody to listen us.??????

I don't think GOD can help us in issuing the VISA,

whatever mailing address you have provided them. you can check your ecas and see the mailing address there

As per my request, an MP from East York, Canada sent an email today to NDVO to find out the status n details of my application. Do you guys have any idea how many days it is taking nowadays to get reply from NDVO?

It's taking more time as most of the staff is on strike over there.

My MP office was able to get the report same day she sent the request to CIC. The MP representative informed us to wait for three business days to get the report when she filed the request but she got it the same day.

There will be a hearing to determine whether the gov't has tried to bargain in bad faith. If the Union wins this case it will force the gov't to go to binding arbitration, which is good news for us, as strikers will go back to work.
If PSLRB sides with the gov't, then we are kind of back to square one, but it will push PASFSO to maybe sign an earlier agreement or push negotiations.

What we want is for PSLRB to side with PAFSO here, because it will move things along a lot quicker and end the strike.

its bcoz u r confusing can_4visa with CAN_4VISAFAM. These are two diff profiles.

I got something to share today.....
I send 1 mail to embassy asking details about my student visa, 2 form submission through "case specific enquiry" . But none of these enquiries got reply for 7 days.

Then I send mail addressing VFS canada and CC to Embassy email. Next day itself I got reply stating all information about my Student visa and PR Application status

I will suggest you all to do the same because they wont reply to our mails. But they will reply to mails if its been forwarded from VFS canada. This is second time I am getting reply because of addressing VFS canada mail ID (info.canada @ vfshelpline.com). then they will forward this mail to Embassy which normally they reply immediately.

Again I wont suggest doing it for all queries. but for some urgent needs it may help....
