Same case with me my application in Canada was March 9th 2012 and my file was transferred on June 29th 2012 and I got passport request and remedicals on Feb 14th.. My file has been in Delhi for 12 months now but i stil havent got my visa.. My case too is a simple and straight forward case first marriage no travels and I have known my husband for 10 years now.. Tried everything dont knw wat else to do.. Ppl who applied in 2013 are receiving thier visa but after waiting for 15 months still not got visa

Any idea..why the things are not moving fast in my application. The details are mentioned below.
CAP application is already submitted and waiting for result. Re-medical and police certificate second time submitted on April 2013. What are further options other then bugging MP, sending inquires which they never reply and CAPS considering following time line
Application in Canada : 10th April 2012
1Step Result successful : 13th July 2012
Passport request and file transfer to Delhi - 26th July - 2012
File taken on process: March 22, 2013
Re medical and PCC request - first week of April 2013
Re-medica and PCC submitted - 17th April 2013 - status updated to medical received.

Our status is "In Process" from 10th of March 2013 and they are holding passport from 30th July 2012. First marriage and no traveling. How long we will have to wait like this........ What else can we do about it......

My Name is Gautam & I'm hard core social networking freak, i'm following some of the VISA office employee for past 1 week.

The first reply i got was something like that "they have lots of previous applications to clear and lots of work load"

Now again i got a tweet from one of the employee is "next week they will release 50 to 60 % of applicants who applied in Jan & Feb"

Don't be upset & don't lose your hope !
Just don't get frustrated!

can u tel us what no did the ND office call from.. Its always good to be prepared.. coz the annoying vodafone call numbers are pretty much similar to the Delhi nos

Sorry to hear that lostwithouthim86... but what did you do to check why your application is getting soo delayed, when yours is a straight forward case??? I mean did you apply for GCMS or contacted any MP or emailed NDVO or sent any case-specific enquiries???

2. i want include some email chat with my wife in to the application, they are in regional language. do you think i have to get them translate, if so who can have the authority to do so?

hey add loads of email, phone bills chat sms pics it will make ur file really strong...
and abt the form i dnt have much idea coz my hubby tk care of tht...

I have one query my file mailed to CIC on 28th April 2013 and 3 months of PCC(I was in USA and back to india on 30th Jan so before I came to India I took my PCC from USA which dated of 16th Jan 2013) complete on 16th of April 2013 so, I wanted to know is this can cause any problem for file processing? Is any case they need rePCC then when they ask for at step1 or step2?

I think this can not be an issue as in case they require additional documents they ask for them at step 2 i.e. of processing at NDVO and before PPR.

1) call from NDVO at 11:56 - Richard on line. He asked whether I can travel by 10th of Aug. I said yes.... he then said whether I can personally come & pick up my passport from the office. I was confused, didn't know what to answer. I asked when do I have to come for that. He said that he would call up after half an hour and confirm.

2) call from NDVO at 12:17 - Richard again. He said " Madam ur visa is issued". I lost my breath that moment. He then said what would be my convenient date to come to new delhi. I said around 18 or 19th. He said 18th would be fine. Then he said how much time it would take if he sends the passport through speed post to my address at Kolkata. I said at most 2 days. He said then he would send the passport through speed post at that would reach faster than me going to delhi on 18th. He then read out my address and asked me to confirm it. I did and thanked Richard.

So friends..... I am tooooooo happy today..... just cant imagine how things have gone for the last 5 days.... I thank u all friends..... I am ever thankful to God and I sincerely wish that everyone will get through very soon.....

Guys check this out , i got this quote from NDVO 2012 applicant ! visas r getting issued instaed of strike , its just slow ! but we applicants r running out of patience

Yes Gupta v contacted the MP they said there was no problem with our file and its in process but its delayed because of the strike. We also emailed NDVO and sent case specific enquires but no response from them.. We are waiting for the GCMS notes

Then the delay may be mainly because of strike.

Hi Every one...........

I applied for my wife in may 2012. she called in for interview in Jun 2013 after that Delhi high commission said her medical and PPC expired and they need new. she had done her Re medical and new PPC and also she submit her passport to Delhi high commission 3 weeks ago.
we did not hear back anything from them and nothing update on online.
does anyone know how much time Delhi high commission take for return passport with visa. I came in India to take her with me I don't know how long I have to wait more.

pleas any one know about it.........
