Don't be depressed...it is a long time to wait but I am sure you will get your visa soon. Just stay positive because you are in process. One day you will check ECAS and the amazing 2 words will be there nice and shiny DM and it will be soon! ;D

I hv a q. What proof did u send for gcms? Jst passport?

first time when I applied I attached a scanned copy of my driver's license and second time I didn't (I think they can get all the information when you supply your PR card number in the application form). I don't think you have to show any address proof.

I made an inquiry to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration's office about your wife's application. I am pleased to report it is going well and is in queue for final review. The ‘bring forward' date is November 17. Officers review files within 30 days of that date. If you have not heard anything by December 17, then please call me again to ask for another update if you like. The file is well within normal processing times (just increased a bit to 12 months in New Delhi) and, as your wife has met all requirements, there is nothing to be concerned about.
