Hi I have a question and I shall really appreciate it if some of you could please answer. I sent my passport to NDVO and as per my mail tracking number it says the mail as been delivered on 2nd November which is a Saturday. So I'm wondering if it is normal, are they open on Saturday's. Any other way to find out that the passport is with them? I sent along few pccs and old passports so I am a little worried. Thank you

yes sat your courier can reach and it will be taken by the security guard nothing to worry its normal they have kept someone in the security for any document which comes to ndvo

looks like we started ysday... been a tiring and frustrating wait for everyone... hope they get this going and clear off all pending applications from jan and especially those are waiting for more than a year...
some of us are lucky to get this pain off in 7months... time to pray for the speedy process of who are awaiting long in the Q... hold on there guys... they got to clear off everything.. good news around the corner...

Status changed to In Process last week. They started processing application on Oct 29.

As long as you have the receipt of the tracking number and the tracking Id you should be good. did you also send the letter you received from NDVO by email and also the documents they had asked about?

SO I was seeing from IP to DM it takes somewhere between 1 week to 3 weeks.
like verma88 - 12th Oct (IP) to 25th Oct (DM) - 13 days
solomax - 12th --> 28th Oct - 16 days
prasamp - 15th --> 4th Nov - 20 days
poojapratik - 22nd --> maybe 14th Nov
