The address has not changed, though. It still shows the Indian address. Is that normal?

Hey guys, I have few questions.. Can someone please suggest?

While going through the forum read about "Expiring Medicals"... any idea till when Medicals are valid.. and How would I get to know just in case if they are expired??

Also, How long the "PR" process takes... just in case if my husband applies for that?? n Will I be able be able to come to Canada till he get his PR right???

I am really nervous specially after checking many recent applicants have started getting DM... n me being one of the initial months applicant have not heard so far..

Also, I had a BIG question most of you were facing issue of ECAS down... where I never had this issue.. i have been chking last complete week very frequently... it was fine for me... Where are you guys chking.. just want to be sure if m also chking the same URL..

Finalllllllllllllyyyyyyy my wife received the passport with the visa today.

The visa was granted on Feb 5th and received the passport today through registered mail.

The last time I checked Ecas it was saying Application received so must have gone to decision made directly.

Hi all,

Spouse got the PP with shiny visa. However one small issue in COPR. The place of issuance of PP given is wrong. It should have been singapore but shows Indiam anyone ever experienced such an issue? Any suggestns pl....

To add more, spouse had a real long travel history with 5 passports, plua had 4plus yeras of stay outside india in two diff countries. Plus had vistited almost 15 countries in the past 8 years. So for long travek history may not necessarily an issue . We were very much worried that the travel history might delay the processing time. Glad that was not the case.

I have been a silent observer of this forum for the last few months. Thought to share with you some great news. I received a call from my wife in India who received her passport with visa this afternoon.

The last time I checked ECAS was a week before the system went down and it read application and medicals have been received. We were very surprised that the passport came today.

Also, the VISA expiry is the validity of the medicals so she has until May 5th to land in Canada. Nevertheless, she is coming next week.

I wish everyone all the best, keep faith, stay strong and have patience as you will receive your passports or DM soon.

I has send them the mail in Dec n got a reply in feb ... But my lawyer received a reply within a week ..

In both the mails they have mentioned that the office has requested for medical re-assessment ..

In my case , Will i have to go for the medicals again ?

Hi angle.forever..i am goign thru a simliar situation..got to knw frm area MP that furthert medical investigation required in relation to medical history but htey have failed to issue a letter..so no letter from thm after passport request..dont knw wht to do??
