New born child sponsorship from outside Canada

Hi, I need your suggestions. I am Canada PR but currently staying in Singapore. I am expecting child in November. I want to sponsor for my child and want to take him to Canada with me. I need to be in Canada soon to complete 730 days criteria.

My questions -
1)What is the process to sponsor.
2) What is the processing time.

1) You must be in Canada to sponsor your child for PR. You cannot sponsor your child from outside of Canada. You must also meet the 730 day residency requirement in order to sponsor your child.
2) Plan on 8-12 months.
