Hello everyone,
I got offer letter from Conestoga today. It will take atleast 15 days for me to file visa as i have to pay fee and get all the receipts. Is it recommended to file visa for may intake or should i defer my intake. Please suggest me.

That's theoretically. A lot of people has been experiencing way longer processing times.

I have completed my masters in the year 2018, from then i am working.

If you are applying through SDS you should proceed with the application. Non-SDS application I would suggest be prepared for both good and bad news in which you might get approved within the timeframe or you might have to differ. Leave this to you to decide. Good Luck.

Lets talk about timelines here
For GIC: it will take around 7-10 days (2 weeks)
For Financial docs: 7 days (1 week)
SOP preparation: 3-5 days.
Medicals: 1 day.
So it might take around 3 weeks to 1 month to file your application(in worst case scenario) that would be March 2021, after applying Visa you get BIL and the Biometrics date will be atleast after 2 weeks.
Then 9 weeks from mid of March will be way past of May 2021 intake.
