ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

hi,
I applied online with a dependent on march '13 & got approval on 16 may, in month of june delhi office called me n interviewed by phone n requsted medical only at mumbai clinic( as we wish to do it at ahmedabad ) they granted 45 days to done medical from 1 st july & i booked appointment on 15th but received email from cic delhi they wont consider any medical after10 july due to strike n will give new MR after the closure of strike metter...





any one else had come across this issues????

my bro rcd phone call from vfs said to me letter has came from cic that additional documents have reqiured.....and passport is still with cic..... what should i think about all that thing ...... plzzzzzzz suggest about me.......becoz i m 2 nervous......

For owps mostly the person who is in Canada their documents are the most important like employment letter, work permit, pay stuff, invitation letter and from spouse side educational credential, marriage certificate, cover letter, work experience if u have. That is all I submitted no bank statement but it depends on case to case. Goodluck

Its upto u we didn't show bank statement I showed my husband's two pay stuff that's it tk suggestion from forum ppl too they will share their experience

Open Work Permit Documents Requirement as per VFS:

check for worker category in this link http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/visaapplication.html

Also, we submitted the following documents:

1) Application form (Worker form)
2)Family Information form
3)Schedule 1
4) Checklist (Mention the NOC code in the form)
5)VFS consent form
6)Joint bank statements for all our accounts
7)Joint Loan, if applicable
8) Invitation letter from my husband, Study/work Permit approval letter and Visa copy
9)Payslips from my prior company
10) Appointment letter and service certificate of my employment
11)Form 16 for 2 years
12) Work reference letters
13) Passport photocopies
14) Photos as per requirements
