if you have mentioned ur email address as contact mechanism while filing ur application then u will get intimation via email..

if urs was only a visitor visa, then u will not get any specific email. You ll get to know ur application no, only after u receive ur medical request (if visa s for more than 6 months stay)

It means you will get ur passport with the visa stamped in your hands soon. ;) ;)
