My background check wentt from in progress to not needed at this time

Received my GCMS notes today. Generated on 1/4. 267 Pages. Pretty much the same update as PN2511.

Eligibility - Met
Criminality/Medical - Passed
All other Not Started.

On the day that my BG changed to Not Needed, A11.2 was updated as Met and my application seems to have been moved to CPC-O from CIO. Couple of interesting things I noticed,
1. The transfer looks like a document request. It is in Outgoing Correspondence with Item Requested as 1. And again in incoming correspondence almost simultaneously.
2. The group name assigned is batchtesting. Its kind of weird to name the group as testing. Hope this testing doesn't cause a lot of delay Cheesy.

Bottom line: Looks like they are transferring from CIO to CPC-O differently causing this new status update for us.

According to the data analysis from this thread we can make a conclusion that BG status change means the application passed the first check and was transferred to the local visa office.

If the BG status will come back to "in progress" a second time it means that PPR is around the corner.

I think this only applies to outland applicants. For some inlanders the background was never changed back to inprogress

This is good news! I got a question for you. Is what does your Eligibility Review in MyCIC says? Does it still shows in Progress? And how long did it take to get your GMCS notes?

I read some posts from the forum that Eligibility Review will keep showing in progress all the time.

Guys, Today my status changed from BG check "Not started" to BG Check "Not needed at this time". It never changed to "In progress"..

Really worried. Hope everything is OK with the application. Following is my timeline. Any comments/views would be appreciated please.

ITA : 18th Dec. 2015
AOR : 20th Jan 2016
Medical Passed : 24th Jan 2016
BG Check : Not needed at this time - 29th Jan 2016.

I was pretty much swapped at work in Dec and Jan for 2 weeks and i did not get time to check Mycic profile, so not sure if it was in 'In Process' sometime that time or not.

Looks pretty good! Now you should expect a request to pay the PR Fee. Once that happens you're set.

my BG changed its status from in progress to not needed on 26 jan and then it changed back to in progress next day on 27 jan . but i have not received PPR email yet.
according to last posts after returning back to in progress they should finalizing the decision but it didnt happen for me
any idea?
