Add yourself to the number of applicants and if your spouse is a co-sponsor add him/her as well. I had the same issue and had to add myself and my wife to the number of appliacants - then it worked.

Fill out the entire form - don't leave any info out! Use additional sheet if necessary - Sch A request is always a good sign and better more info than leaving anything out critical.

Once you are landed you become a PR, regardless of when you get your card. As a matter of fact, you can and probably should use your Copr and get a new SIN and health card. Also regarding school, the institution may request to see the Copr, but yes even before you get the PR Card you should get...
