That is correct, but for example if you are from India or other country, but have been living in USA with legal status such as H1-B, and currently living in USA, you can visa office in USA - so in this case you can choose Buffalo.

CIC/CHC is not your mother, they are there to process complete applications, not to hold your hand through the process.

Did anyone got an email before getting the package return on snail mail? CIC will send an email before returning the package?

Im008 is electronically validated and there are fields that get greyed out automatically based on your answers. Question 13 in the form, if you answer your marital status as Single, automatically the spouse information will be greyed out and you won't be able to fill up the fields. Are we expected to hand write NA in these fields?

If yes, then i will need to call DHL and ask them to return my application. Please let me know.

I got my set back as well in 2010 as I had mentioned VO as Abu Dhabi although it should have been London. They sent the whole set back with a covering note highlighting this.

They don't keep any record of incomplete or incorrect applications so a fax/ email is not to be expected from them.
