Hi,

Do you think it would be okay to send multiple applications if someone qualifies in more than one category?

Thanks

Sure. But you need to send complete documentation for each - including original IELTS results and education credential assessments.

I understand tht scylla is a very Sr. Member, but in my opinion, you shouldn't apply anything with different applications.
Your PP # and other details are going to be unique in CIC's system, so you are trying to fool the system :-\

This will also show that you are multi-talented and not necessarily an expert in 1 specific field.

What if they overwrite your Application 1 with Application 2. But you had more chances with respect to Application1 becuase the quota wasn't over by then. :p

No, what I meant was that if some one has an AEO and also 1 year Canadian Experience, or has a PNP, can he still apply for both. These different categories have different timelines, and timeline varies a lot sometimes. Sometimes FSW moves faster than Canadian Experience and sometimes vice versa.

I'm not an expert.
Here's my thought, even if you have a PNP, your file will still go to the Federal level. So, again, its the same thing. But I'll defer this to Seniors.

CAUTION: Do not submit multiple applications for the same service in an effort to speed up your application. Doing this may result in both applications being processed and delay the finalization of your application. CIC does not refund processed applications.

I was trying to use the "Come to Canada" Wizard and at the end of that, I got the above statement on the CIC website.

It Says "for the same service". That's what my question is, has someone applied for "different categories" at the same time before?

Sure. There are at least a couple of people on this forum who applied for FSW first and then submitted a CEC application afterwards.

Here's an example of someone who has a FSW and CEC application in process at the same time:
