Hi,

I have calculated my points. I had 403 but due to close relative in ON -100 and I have 303.

Is there any change to get through with 303?

Thanks z.
Hello charninder! Is your connection in Manitoba a close friend?

thansk

alaashabana you're always welcome!

As for me, as long as I can extend any advise and help to anyone in this forum...

As for your question, what I know is that, it can be any kind or type of proof of funds. A bank statement (3 months) with stamp is the most common & should be enough.

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding work experience. I have total work experience of around 6.5 yrs as below:

1) NOC 1312 - Around 1 Yr
2) NOC 1212 - Around 4 Yrs
3) NOC 1254 - Around 1.5 Yrs

My current NOC is 1254. So I'll be putting that. However, just to confirm, for question "How many years of full-time work experience do you have in the past 5 years?", should I put 5 yrs or should I put 2 yrs (since in current NOC I just hace 1.5 yrs of experience).

Please advise.
It is regardless of the job. It's asking the total no. of years you've been working in the past 5 years.

Hi All

Below is the email i received

Based on the information you provided in your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Skilled Worker (MPNP-SW), we are pleased to invite you to submit a full application.

This Letter of Advice to Apply is valid for 60 days from the date of this message.

You now have two options:

Submit a full application to the MPNP-SW
Decline this invitation

If your situation (or that of your spouse or partner) has changed, you should try to re-calculate your ranking points using our Ranking Points grid available on our website before you decide to submit a full application.

Declining your Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA)

If your new score is lower than the minimum points score in the draw from which you were advised to apply, you should consider declining this LAA. You should also consider declining if you no longer meet the eligibility criteria of one of the MPNP streams. If you decide to apply in the above cases, your application may be refused. If you decline, you would have to submit a new EOI to be considered for future rounds of invitations.

Note: If you had a birthday since you submitted your EOI and your age score has changed, this will not cause us to refuse your application.

Accepting your Letter of Advice to Apply

If you choose to accept this LAA, you can log into the Government of Manitoba account you created when submitting your EOI and continue with a full application. Because your entries from EOI will be transferred to your full application, please wait 48 hours before proceeding to ensure your information has migrated. You should immediately start gathering all the supporting documents and information you need to include so you can submit your application within the 60-day deadline.

This LAA will expire if you do not:

decline the invitation; and
submit a full application to the MPNP within the 60 day time period.

If you fail to take action on this LAA, your EOI will expire and your profile cannot be considered for future rounds of invitations. If you later decide that you wish to be considered again, you will need to submit a new EOI and meet the requirements in place at that time.

Thank you for your interest in Manitoba as your immigration destination in Canada.

Sincerely,

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program – Skilled Worker

I also got an LAA today, I am not currently in Canada but have a job offer there and my points were over 800 so it looks like they are in the process of sending out the first ones, and based on our points it will start at the higher end. Obviously there will be more people with applications in that don't post on this forum so for the others waiting that created that spreadsheet, bear in mind there's no way to know how many others there are out there waiting too with varying point scores.

Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 700

Skilled Workers Overseas

Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 75

Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 607

PLEASE NOTE:

•Registered Nurses
•Secondary and Elementary School Teachers
•Vocational and College Instructors
•University Professors
•General and Specialist Physicians

2. If your score is higher than that of the lowest-ranked candidate, but you have not received an Letter of Advice to Apply, this could be because:
•You have indicated that you have taken a n approved third-party language test to demonstrate your language ability in English/French, but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI
•You have indicated that you have received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number
•You have indicated that you are working in an occupation that is considered regulated and are fully licensed to practice in your profession or trade in Manitoba, but your occupation is not regulated.
