just sharing, just got my file number last June 2013, to date there is no update yet on the progress of my application

question

1.do they interview the sponsor? until nowmy sponsor is not interviewed yet. confused !
2. I applied under general stream thru mail, can I check my status online?
3. can I follow up my application?
4. how long is the processing time under general stream?

you can certainly check your application status online on MPNP website. The stages they show online: 1. Received, Request for dicuments, assesment pending, assesment in process, assesment complete. You need to login usiing the user ID and password with which you submitted your online application.

In your case, who was interviewed first? the sponsor or the applicant? will the interviewer tell at the end of the interview that you will be nominated, and just wait for the LOA in a few weeks, something like that.

In my case applicant was interviewed first. Regarding nomination visa officer did not tell anything. I simply waited for 2 weeks.

I had sent my application package to CIC on 28th October 2014 and same received on 4th November 2014.

I need to confirm when they will going to encash my certified cheque as I confirmed on Saturday and the same yet to clear.

Need suggestion from peoples those are already received their AoR. How much time takes to get AoR after Certiified Cheque encashed,

Suggestion and feedback will be highly appreciated.

yes right, they don't give any confirmation,

But you should wait for 90 days to get AOR,

in my case I got it after 60 days from received all doc and in between time i did not get any confirmation.

Katrina is right. In my case also they took 60 days. But it seems that they are taking more time now.

Now Katrina and me both are waiting for PPR from NDVO.
