thats good news! it is now confirmed that the waiting time from medical done up to PPR is averaging to 1 month

i am comparing the timeline (Medical done --> PPR) during and after the strike. I noticed that during the strike it takes one applicant around 3-4 months before getting the PPR.

we're planning to go by march coz ryt now its winter in winnipeg, by then its not too cold..
my eldest is also studying (grade 7), my auntie told me its better if he can wait till the school year ends..

i will look for tickets after the holiday season, for sure ryt now its very expensive..

how about u, when do u plan to leave?

Im plnning to leave in january... I'll go there alone so im looking for a companion, it's my first time to go overseas..hehe, my mom and dad will follow in summer, april or may.... They'll apply for multiple entry visa... Im planning to apply them in parents, grandparents permanet residency too... Goodluck to your family's new life in canada..

MR sent to CEM-Sep 25, 2013.
Ecas IP-Sep 24, 2013.
PPR- Oct 8, 2013.
Passport Sent-Oct 17, received Oct 18.
Ecas DM-Oct 26, 2013.
Passport Return with visa-Nov. 5, 2013.

Medical result is sent to CEM but in your ECAS, it is already "IN-PROCESS" in status. at this point, your medicals are not yet received at CEM?

Hi ramcal,

Medical received was shown after IP in my ecas. Its just that they started processing my application sept 24. Then the following day iom sent our medical results.

Sometimes medical received comes first in ecas.

Hehehe i am also one among those stock.
I am December 25, 2012 applicant. I rcvd letter from CIO Oct. 9,2013. Noted that my files will be forwarded to visa office PH current of residency. But until now still waiting Its 29days/25days ave days to rcvd the MR.

Sabay sabay n tayo mga friends. SET to one point. It seems we are same target to land of promise. Hehehe
