Hi Guys,

I have received AOR,(applied in July 2012) it was mailed to my relative in Manitoba,
but it said my document about working experience is too simple,i need to resend documents about working experience,how you guys prepare your working experience?

could you please help me? i am confused

HI, I have a friend who want to apply for FSW Visa in May 2013, Her IELTS Score overall is 6.5.
Listening : 6.0
Writing: 6.0
Reading: 6.0
Speaking :6.5

How many points do she get for IELTS ability and can I apply for FSW if i get 67 points eventhough i don't score 7 in each band ?
please advice me .

I heard that there is a new standard for Language ability this May 2013. Any Idea????

Visit www.workopolis.com. Under "career resources", you will find samples of resumes (on the left-hand side). Your work experience should mention detailed job duties and responsibilities.

I applied GS. and I worked as accountant,but worked in 3 different companies before.

the letter said"please provide updated notarized letter of reference confirming current status of employment stating period of employment(start and end dated or the date the letter of reference was issue)"

so how about my former working experience in the other 2 companies?I don;t need to provide?

I applied FS online. In the online application, MPNP is asking for work experience for the last 10 years.

In my opinion with the way the letter is written (refer to bold texts above), you have to provide the reference letter from your two former employers.

I don't know exactly how you've presented your employment certificates, but as protocol you have to provide the details such as position/nature of work, employment period/duration, job description, salary + other benefits (if, any) among others... sign & stamp from your company/superior, then just notarized it and send the notarized copy...i assumed you had submitted the simple version or the normal certificates. Hence, they will require you to have a letter of reference instead confirming your current employment, better provide one letter of reference and sign it from your current designated officer/manager then send it to MPNP. If you can manage to make the same for the previous job experiences then that's better.

In addition to what Cardinal mentioned, if you are unable to get your tow former employer to do you a reference letter kindly do a separate letter explaining why.

I got my LOA in July 2012. The work reference letter i provided just one paragraph of my daily duties at work. Make sure you include what you do on daily basis. For example for a project manager daily duties can be planning, scheduling, risk management, communicating to stakeholders etc. These will vary according to your job. You don't need to write much, but make sure when someone reads it they can figure out what your job and duties are.
