I would also like to share with everyone that my sponsor was already interviewed July 31, 2012. She asked if I passed the assessment which the officer then answered that they will need to assess first and I will be then receiving a letter by snail mail after 4-6 weeks. That'll be October then.

Hello

The applicant will receive the letter of AOR by snail mail not by email for GS. MPNP will send 1 letter to the sponsor and the other one to the applicant that will take 3 weeks to reach Philippines.

In my case, my AOR is dated June 15, my sponsor received the letter June 22 and I got mine July 9.


Very true Tweety05....our AOR letter is dated 5 July and mailed from Winnipeg 9 July.....we received via post mail here in Philippines last 31 July only.

Jun 22, 2012 - submit application to CIO via fedex
Jun 27, 2012 - application received in CIO
Jul 24, 2012 - application fee reflected in my credit card statement
Jul 26, 2012 - received AOR from CIO
Jul 30, 2012 - E-CAS status "Application Received"

Hi All,

Is there anyone on this forum that a primary applicant submitted a bank certificate and bank statement but was joint account to parents.

Is it possible to send that way or it should be name on primary applicant only?

Is there anyone also who send a new open account and wasnt able to send a 6 months bank statement.

Good day all. We (me, my wife and 4year old daughter) will be visiting family in Winnipeg Manitoba in December 2012 for the first time. We both have family there, I have a niece (my fathers, sisters, daughter) and I have a National Diploma Marketing. My wife has her uncle (her mothers brother) - they are married (seems weird, hehe) but has no secondry education. What I would like to know is the following - who must be the mail applicant and will it be best for us to apply after visiting or to start the process before we go to visit? I would like the process to be fast but also need it to be successfull. Any suggestions?

Hi! i got confused.. sorry. a niece is a daughter of your brother/sister? if its your fathers, sisters, daughter, that makes her your first cousin? you can apply for family stream or even your wife since she has an uncle there. im not just sure if the family stream will be much faster than strategic initiative though.. from what i have read, with strategic initiative, you need to have an interview with an mpnp officer during your visit to manitoba.
in terms of faster processing, most of the family stream online application gets prioritized. you can check bk's excel sheet so you can compare as well.
