Cic call centre agent told me that since I applied Outland that there is no timeline for my application to be completed. Are they always this dense?

Before this she told me I had a 12 month timeline.

Everything this women said completely contradicted her previous statements that she made 30 seconds prior...

It means they havent started your background check yet. Once the line changed to "We started processing your background check." dm will come very soon after bcg which is "Decision made". After decision made they will send Passport request email to you in several days and that would be the end of the whole journey.

Weirdest is that file was supposed to move to London VO a month ago. But it wasnt and it started processing in Sauga.

We thought we were going to be London but was kept in Mississauga. We are August applicants and our BGC changed to in progress on the GCKey around the 22nd December, haven't had a pre arrival email yet either. Background checks vary whatever your VO is

Hey, What was your expected VO? and did you receive an email saying that Sauga will process your app.?
BTW my GCkey changed to BGC in process on 20th Dec so very near to yours. Also the eCas says InProcess on 22nd Dec.
I know this because I checked on 19th Dec and then I called them on 20th Dec and thats when I found that on 20th Dec they started BGC,.
