That's what I check is ecas. It did update saying they were processing. I wish I could see the background check too.
Anyone here from November or on have their background check actually in process yet?

Yes they have. I also sent mine in November and I got my background processed. I had to refil my Background Declatraion Form I sent it 3 weeks ago and yet still no reply.

I had go redo my Medical and they let us know they received it. I also had to refill my Background Declaration form. I sent it 3 weeks ago and still no reply it just keeps saying "processing" . Honestly I'm just so stressed out. How much longer will this take until I get a reply?

Why did they ask you to redo the background declaration?

Hi everyone I'm new on here and I am wondering if I could get some insight into my timeline. My VO is Mexico. I have been reading the forums for awhile but am wanting to see based on my timeline if anyone could estimate when I could be expecting PPR.

Got AOR1 April 4 2017
Got SA approval April 5 2017

Got official AOR2, and got asked for RCMP fingerprints June 16 2017

Hello, your timeline is amazing. One of the fastest if not the fastest I have seen so far. Did your background check changed to in progress today?

It's hard to say when you could get PPR. But usually if there is no interview, in average, 3-4 months after the official AOR2. Now since you need to submit your fingerprints, your file is on hold and that might delay things a bit. If after you submit your fingerprints, your background check changes to in progress, you can expect PPR in 1-2 months. I'm assuming your background check is not in progress, but I have seen some applicants getting their background check started from Mississauga. Also, they could have started it just today with the RCMP request.

Thank you, our application does seem to be going very fast. Our BG check has been in progress since we got AOR1, so I guess our BG check started in Mississauga.

Our update: I ordered the GCMS notes yesterday, so will see next month where we are at with eligibility and what if anything they have done with the background check. Also we want to know if we are going to be requested to go for an interview. They should be contacting us anyways in the next month, as partner's medicals expire on July 30. Anyone else have updates?

That is weird that they want the 2012 form filled out. I guess you just have to give them what they want even if it makes no sense. I was hoping that by ordering the notes that it might also give them a push to do something with our app.

It will give them a push IMO. From what I have seen, the notes are usually generated towards the end of the 30 days so that's when you should expect "that push"

I see all these people ordering notes! So I'm guessing maybe we should do that too. I mean I thought they might get a little ticked too if you bug them too much and then order the notes too.
I'm also guessing as people have talked about it, for Dominican the last round of interviews were May. So if it's every 3 months and they usually let you know at least a month in advance, we'd probably know something soon.
I don't know if I should order them or not. I'm dying to of course but o don't want to make waves for Miguel and Ana. I need them to have happy thoughts looking at our papers.

I don't think Miguel and Ana will get too ticked if you order GCMS notes. I am not sure, but as this is the government, I think that probably someone else/another department would handle processing of GCMS notes, as they are requested for many other classes of immigration also. I think that when the notes are ordered, Miguel and Ana can see that they have been ordered and that somehow prompts them to work harder or start working on your app again.

For me, I hope Sandra and Jonaton (my Miguel and Ana) will get something going next month when I get the notes.
