You should remove it before taking medical examination, remember to keep all of its records.

I am very happy to inform that I already passed the Medical Examination.

VO sent me an email to respond to my concerns about removing the neck lipoma.

The medical examination consists of the followings:
1. Urinalysis – clients ≥ 5 years
2. Chest x-ray (postero-anterior view) – clients ≥11 years
3. Syphilis – clients ≥15 years
4. HIV – clients ≥15 years
So I don't think you would have any problem as long as it's just a dead lump.

You should prepare in advance in order not to take time later for further tests.

Thanks a lot for a great information. I have a question:

If the tests VDRL and TPHA for Syphilis are positive and after diagnosis at the panel medical centre for Canadian Immigration which is an IOM centre, they provide a treatment which is three injections of Penicillin continuously for three weeks (one injection per week). How does it effect the medical decision for immigration in family class?

Please share your thoughts on that.

Hi Experts,

I received MR for me and family and I had been on 24th June 2014 for the same here in Dubai.

All Went well for me....but I have some concerns, please help....

1) My son is 8 years and a Juvenile Diabetic (Type 1), he is on insulin. I reported that to Physician, she took note of the dosage hes taking. She said he might be required to do kidney test if asked by the CIC doctors. She was also concerned that this processes takes time and time factor is the key here. Me and my son gave urine sample and they did blood test for me alone. As we came down and my wife was going to the lab, nurse came and asked for a blood sample for my son aswell. This all happened in 5 minutes of urine sample given. Later on when I asked the reception for payments she told to wait till urine results come after about 30 minutes , she said all is negative and you can pay the fees.

When paying the fees I observed, that they have done Creatinine serum test for my child, which was not planned initially. I need your advise...IF

a) Was this test done being proactive to save time in order to avoid if further requirements from cic doctors.
b) If the test were normal / abnormal what could have been the next step.

2) My wife has hypothyroidism and is on medication, doctor asked me to bring all the reports etc next day, I have given the reports and currently shes absolutely normal. Nurse told its required to update the entire history in system. Can Hypothyroidism affect my immigration case?

As all the reports had to come from India, I went next day and told informed the nurse that it will take one more day to get the reports from India by e-mail.
She asked me if she would upload mine and my sons report and later on she could send my wifes report. I requested her to wait for a day and submit all together, gladly yesterday morning I gave her all reports etc she wanted, I hope she must have uploaded by now...

Its very URGENT!!!! Please assist me with your advice....

I am planning to do our Medicals and have some Questions.

I have high BP but it is very much under control with medicine, which I am taking from last one year.

I also had high uric acid which is now under prescribed limits.

And also had high LDL Cholesterol which is now under control and prescribed limits.

For all I am taking medicine, just want to know weather there would be any problem with above to my application?

Also, is it necessary to disclose above these at the time of our Medical to DMP or is it ok to hide as everything is under control?

I have a back issue, I'm 29 and have DDD disc degeneration disease...aka my back is like old persons... the discs are thin and as a result I have facet arthritis in my back already. I deal with it with exercises and being careful what I do, no medicines/painkillers. This is something that is inherited from my parents.

I was also diagnosed with anemia and have been on high iron supplements for about a year.

Other than that I am healthy. Should I be concerned?

Would it be ok to tell the doctor that I have history of hypertension and taking maintenance drug? Same as if you medicate yourself with some medicine to lower your cholesterol level before the exam? Would you I get rejected by telling these histories?
