Not sure how we can help you there. You might want to contact your VO to find out the status of your application.

how do u know if you VO requested extensions on your medical?

Depends on your VO. Some might send you a courtesy email, others might just go ahead and request it and contact you when everything is complete, and yet others might send you PPR indicating that the extension is pending. Best thing to do is about 3-4 weeks prior to your medicals expiring, send your VO a CSE asking advice on whether you should redo them. This might prompt a response letting you know what's going on. Good luck!

VO comments: Family Class eligibility passed. ASP: Pls issue re-meds.

Does this mean they are requesting an extension of the current meds that are within 3 months after expiry? Or does it mean a new medical exam is being requested?

How long it takes to DM after submission of remedical results?

In my case I finished my remed. Aug. 30, 2012 the my DMP sends the result to my VO Sept. 10, 2012 but till now still no update my ECAS status still In Process. Others got their DM and VISA early but mine not yet. I think it's case to case basis, so it's hardly to tell how long in my case.

Anyone got their extension through London and can tell me about their experience? I've heard it takes 2-3 months and I'm hoping someone can tell me it won't take as long!

my mother received a request to redo x-ray so her medicals can be extended... her medical office is London... and application office is Ottawa... does anybody knows how long it can take after x-ray for medicals to be extended and visa issued?

After 5 months of waiting we received an e-mail stating we have to undergo re-medicals.

5 long months of patiently waiting only to be denied of extension.

Hello looking for advice. My medicals are set to expire 03.13.2013
We are still in process and have a complicated case as my husband is a failed refugee we submited an authorization to return to Canada on 12.13.2012 I am told typical process time is 2-6 months. So we could be done any day now or it could still be months.

At this point what would be the best thing to do? Should we just try to re do our medicals on our own ..should we wait to see if they extend them.. or should we send a CSE asking them if we should re do them?

My reassessment was requested before 3 months. After 3 months they said i have to do xray again. I have just sent the xray report. Can anyone kindly tell me how long it takes for them to contact me after sending xray report. And after this what is the next step? do i have a chnce to be asked ppr after this? Is there anyone who faced same situation like this please share ur experience.

You guys are lucky at least your visa office actually request for an extension. Mine won't even request one, they said it must be requested on month before expiry of medicals. On the Cic website it says within 15 months of initial assessment. My medical exam expired 3 weeks ago. These officers are driving me bonkers!!

Got request to re-do medicals on Jan 30th. VO requested med extension from Ottawa-HMB on the same day the emailed me for the re-do. Per March GCMS notes, VO has no results of my re-do AND no indication of approval of the extension by HMB.
