I don't know. I can log into ecas using my sponsor's UCI. I cannot log in with the file number or my uci. So, I emailed London about 2 months ago. They never replied. I emailed again yesterday and they replied this morning saying they don't have my file. So, I called CIC and he basically said:
- the file is still in Mississauga
- he doesn't know why
- he sent an enquiry to ask
- if I call back in a few weeks, I should get an answer as to why it was not sent
- if it was just that they forgot, it will be sent to london and I will be at the back of the queue

Oh no, that totally bites. If only you could hear the words that I just said on your behalf. I am so sorry to hear this. I hope that there is some good news for you soon.

This process really pulls at the heart strings, especially when you see other people getting their ppr's and landing and you're still waiting.

I'm really sorry.

I am truly sorry to hear such a disastrous story happened to you. I think we need not only patience but also determination to survive this process. What if someone would think ok, I should wait well over processing time and then find out it was just collecting dust in Canada??? Unbelievable! Disgusting! If they give us work permit after the first stage, that's one thing. But we are not allowed just because we applied for PR to be with family. Our lives are at stake!

If you can log into ecas with the file # does it mean the application was received at the VO?

Nope. I was able to log in before my file was transferred to Manila VO.

So sorry to hear but there is HOPE! Not sure about London but some VO's queue up the files based on original 'app filed' date and NOT by 'file transferred' date. If London does that, your file will end up in the queue exactly where it would have been. ANYWAY, those "July'ers" have a LONG WAY to go yet. Also, it prolly won't take'm "a couple of weeks" to send it off now.

Good news, I received the email and my passport copies have been requested They opened my file on October 5th and the email was sent today (October 19th).

Oh, yeah interview was waved. I was under the impression I had to send my entire passport but since I'm from the states they only want copies. Makes me life so much easier. Yay!

I just got an email from London saying:

Hello,

Your file has not yet been received in London.

It may be that it is too early for information to be available through ECAS but the London office does not administer ECAS, this is done within Canada.

Hi Bonitanita, I'm really so to hear about this rediculous delay! Can I ask, what was it that made you suspect that your application had not made it to the London office? You'd received your sponsorship approval right?

That's great news! I got my ppr the day before you. I guess Ottawa is really starting to move. Two PPR's from May applicants is awesome! Let's hope more good news comes down the pipe not just for Ottawa but for everyone!

I could not log into ECAS using the File number. The only way I could log in was by using the sponsor's UCI. This made me suspicious. I enquired about 8 weeks ago and never heard anything. So, I enquired again and this is what I found out. We had sponsor approval on the 25th July. By rights, I should have COPR by now. Instead, I now have to wait for a few months.

Hello everyone, i haven't posted for a while and i would like to congratulate those who have had their sponsorship approval, ppr and visa. I also would like to encourage those still waiting to stay positive and soon will have good news.

Question: could someone tell me how to pay the right of permanent fee for my spouse? I was asked to do so and i already have an extra bank form with me so can i pay the amount $490 at the bank and send them the receipt? If so can someone tell me the address to send the reciept. Thanks in advance
