    Vancouver Applicants

My whole immigration process is over. My processes for PR and citizenship are both relatively quick and easy. But yes, Canada, this country has a lot to do to become true multicultural nation. I'm so happy that I can vote for this general election! ;D

Refugee status cessation and PRs applying for citizenship

Very true. If you start thinking what if scenarios, you will be spending your time worrying but worrying will not change anything, certainly not for the better. It is hard not to, but as you mentioned, worry and anxious are useless. Focus on what you need to do now. Believe in your faith. :)

    income tax information

I think you got a bad advice >:(. CRA officer said we can, and I did. You won't be able to use the benefit unless you have income but the tuition credit can can be carried forward to the future years.

    income tax information

Even though you didn't have income to pay tax for, if you had filed the tax for the years when you were students, you might have gotten tuition credit. If you can go that far, it might be a good idea to consider filing for those years.

Legal name change before applying for citizenship

No affects whatsoever. See my timeline below. I was one of the fastest. If you want to do it, do it before your citizenship application. I didn't even change my PR card, knowing I will be citizen before it expires.

    JAN 2015 Citizenship Applicants

I find the online tests very useful. But one is enough. I studied http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/ and http://citizenshipcounts.ca/quiz. They have quite different sets of questions. I did read Discover Canada though. I got full score but those tests probably would have been ok to pass (I...

I suppose the local processing office is determined by the address. I live in New West in BC. Would an applicant in New West fall under Vancouver office or Surrey office?
