My application reached on May 14th. I hope the backward processing continues for another week or two. Any AOR's this week?

I called CIC yesterday to update address. The agent said my application hasn't been opened yet.

There has been a few for both april and may but must say they are trickling in!!!! Hopefully there will be a flurry of aor's/approvals very very shortly!

doubtful.. the "april 23" update was done mid may

you may be very lucky.

yesterday a guy that filed in february got Decision made from london after only one month after file transferred. so sponsorship approval took 3 months and who VO one month.

hey! for the timeline, you need to post first 10 times, and then you can edit the settings in your profile to add the information - few more posts to go and you'll be good!

Good luck with waiting for the approval - it's a hard time, but it seems that waiting time is decreasing for people that sent it in May, so you might get luck and not have to wait the 90/95 days that April Applicants had to go through...

for me in rome it will take 12 months ;(

I am not saying they will make a decision in 3 months what I am saying is the majority of stage 2 will be using the next updated figures in the VO's as that will realistically be over 50% of the time of processing for stage 2 and will be my only guide until they update again which will be late October/ early November at which point I will be 4 months in to the current stated time of 7 months ;D

I've been reading the posts here and I wish you all the luck.
I am sponsoring my husband and we both live in UAE. We sent our application on May 22nd and we received an e-mail today, July 17, stating that CIC in Mississauga has received our application. I hope we get the approval soon. We chose Cairo as our Visa office because the overall processing time is less than the Abu Dhabi one, but I guess it depends on the case.
