I checked on the website, using our UCI (i thought it was the number of Canadian Citizenship), and it was there were i found that it should be an 8 digit number (different) documents. i supouse that UCI code is unique, so it is the code you stated on the form IMM1344.

you press Continue, agree with the conditions and agreements and it will appear the page where you can put your code, and so on.

Unless you have tracking with the postal service on your application, you won't unless they send you an acknowledgement... and most times, they don't. So you just have to wait and see.

Once you get sponsor approval, you'll be able to get on eCAS (you can access this by the 'check the status of your application') option on the main page to see the progress. It can go months before you see things, but that's how you'll keep track until they personally contact you via email.

You might hear something sooner, but I wouldn't expect anything before August 15th because of the current wait times for the first stage. I sent mine on the 18th so I'm in the same boat as you are.

If you have not heard anything by the end of August you can email them about it, but not before the expected wait time has passed.

Hello everybody, like you all i sent my app on may 19th and it was received on may 24th so i think by august we`ll be hearing news, my wife is sponsoring me, she is a canadian resident and i live in colombia, i was sent here on january 2012 because i filed for refugee status on 2008 but was denied. so i came back after all the appeals failed too, while i was there we lived together and she got pregnant now our baby was born in april and we waited for her to be born so that she can be included in our app, if anyone have any info that can help us ill appreciated, good luck everyone and God bless

Wow the long wait is so boring! LOL. Luckily, Im able to stay in Canada with my husband and son, but waiting till paperwork comes in feels like a drag.

Been killing time watching Euro 2012. I must really be bored since we Americans usually hate soccer! LOL
