Yeah, you just need to wait another 6-7 months, that's all

That might have been a "ghost update". For time estimate, it really depends on the applicant and how sober/busy the officer reviewing your application is.

hi all, I submitted my application in March, and still have not get test inv, and my GCMS stated that my application is still in CPC-Sydney, I am wondering if anyone is in a similar situation as I am? My application is quite straightforward, has been studying, working, getting PR here since 2007, and only has very few visits outside of Canada

Same with me, except I think my file has been transferred to the local office of IRCC Ottawa.

oh I just DM ed you too lol Yes we received too, that was pretty quick. Also our friends who applied this year in April got their test invite(despite having missing documents and resubmitting them), so I think new applicants are hopefully lucky

No, I just I do have travel plans for Jan. I don't think they took it very seriously.

Hello guys. Looking for advice.
So I've sent the signed oath to the email they provided in the forms when they were invited to the oath ceremony. During the ceremony, we were told to use a different subject line from the one indicated in the documents they initially sent (The subject we needed to use was "NK-October 26, 2021" I took a screenshot of it during the ceremony so I would not forget). I emailed the signed attachment within the hour after the ceremony last Tuesday.

Today is Nov 3rd (so a week later) and the citizenship tracker still says "Oath Ceremony pending". Is this normal? Will this change sometime on its own or do I need to reach out to them to confirm they received the document? I am a bit worried that the status still has not changed.

PS: I did receive an automated email from them after I sent my form- so I know that my email did reach their mailbox.
