Can someone please update our info in the spreadsheet?

Background check in Process: June 6th (I guess...)
Decicion Made: June 10th
I guess the interview was waived

I guess the next step is the passport request? :)

I was freaking out about the photo request (digital, email, letter, etc...) for nothing on Tuesday as I didn't notice the DM ...
Have you landed yet? Pls could you give us your landing date so we could update the spreadsheet? Thanks.

We applied Mar 1 and haven't heard anything since being transferred to VO almost 5 months ago so I wouldn't worry too much. Timeline is 12m, if it's any faster than that consider yourself lucky.
Preach it!!! I dont understand why people get their hopes upfor super short processing times based on other peoples experiences. EACH APPLICATION IS UNIQUE. As clearly outlined if you are within your processing time there is nothing to worry about

No one person can tell you. Each app is different. You are WELL within your processing times. You will HAVE to be patient. Good luck

You can't control how people will react to issues. We are wired differently. The fact that u take it cool doesn't mean everyone should. It's only normal to worry if others are getting response faster to the same thing u applied for.

I dont know why youre so upset... i was answering her question because NO ONE can answer the question. Were all anxious i get it but none of us are the visa officers issuing the visas. She asked how long it takes after submitting docs. NO ONE KNOWS. This is the simple truth. It sucks but its life.... no need to attack as this response was NOT malicious at all. It was honest and realistic

why ppl keep asking the same question over and over again....its clearly mentioned on the cic website - 12 MONTH....everything which is less than that - luck. No one can say are you going to be lucky or not. Just need to wait, nothing else.

I agree! The thing is people should watch the spreadsheets and see the average for their visa office.
What we say here are just guesses.
Also, even at the same VOs there are variations in time for the same thing since each application is unique!
Anyway, let's hope it goes fast for everyone :)

Also want to point out that the people on this forum represent only a fraction of all people who actually apply to each VO to get PR visas for family sponsorship. It will give you an idea of what is happening with timelines, but who knows if it is a true representation of the "average" time. It also all depends on what IO your app ends up with. If they are fast, that is a matter of luck.
