Hi guys, new here. Do you know why it takes longer for other applications to be in process. I applied 10 march 2015, AOR 25 March 2015 and the status is still received. is it different from one area to another? I live in GTA.

Totally unexpected, best get our heads in the book.

I can't figure out how to update the spreadsheet, we are at row 11.

Seriously speaking, yes it seems to take longer for the GTA compared to other places such as Vancouver. Don't worry, your turn will come soon. You are not alone on this boat.

A lot of people have experienced the line disappearing after LOT so don't worry. My line too disappeared within a day.

Did CIC send email for test notice?

Ok I was excited and now I'm scared.

This was on my ecas this morning:!!!!!!!!
5 We sent you a notice on July 3, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 28, 2015 at 12:01 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
6 We sent you a letter on July 3, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Yay test date, but does this mean RQ too? Or is it just where to appear for the test? I am at Surrey office but I know they send to Vancouver for tests as well.

I can't actually figure out how to edit my signature line etc, but here are my details-

Family application, mailed to Sydney March 3rd, Halifax applicant, started processing April 22nd, then we received a letter yesterday informing us of test date next Tuesday; six days to prepare.

Today, I am seeing information regarding my permanent residence application on ECAS. Does it mean something? It was not there earlier

I am another applicant from London, ON and I see that you've updated your info on the tracking sheet.
CPC in Nova Scotia transferred my file over to CIC London on June 17, and I guess in your case, the file was transferred on June 10.
I see that you've got a test invite for July 16. I was wondering if you could let me know when your e-cas was updated to reflect the progress of your application.

Hi CANMAPLE,

I am not sure of the exact date as to when they updated the ecas, but I saw the update when I logged in on July 6th evening. The update was not there on July 2nd when I checked. So I assume it got updated on July 3rd or the morning of 6th. Hope this helps.

No email. Only snail mail and ecas update.
