March 2015 Citizenship Applicants

March applicants I'm checking my email daily and so far no AOR even though they received my application on March 23rd ,am not sure what's going on with my application !!!do you think they will return it back !!!or what would be the delay reason !!your insight is so helpful

my application was returned within two weeks after they received, i think you should be getting your AOR instead of application return as its been more then 2 weeks for your application. good luck buddy !!

My application was received on mar 31 and I was also worried it would be returned as people applied in apr already received AOR. But I just got AOR this morning, so you will receive yours soon. Best wish to you.

Its almost 45 days now and still no AOR, and no ecas updates.

What do you guys suggest, should i send my application again?

NOPE, please don't do that. It's time to call CIC and ask about the application status. Tell them that you have sent your application via xyz post/courier. Don't get surprised if they say that your application is not traceable. Ask them if "they (CIC) want me to re-send the application!!"

On the other hand, have patience. You waited patiently for last so many years. Many of us have not received AOR, IP status, Exam dates, Interview, Oath ....blah blah blah ..... The problem is, there is no definite path that CIC is following ....Everything is based on our guesses and predictions. We have to 'just' wait and update the tracker as & when it happens!!

(my curiosity) Did you mention your email ID in the application? If 'no' then I understand that they have sent a hard copy of 'Discover Canada' .... BUT if it is 'yes' then why many of us didn't get it :-X ...... like we got the link to download .... ;D

Why our notice is different? Mine as below. It did not mention " a study book called Discover Canada "

If you have provided email address in your application, you will get only email AOR and a link to the study book. Only paper AOR will get a paper study guide. That could be the reason for the difference in the status.

I think the reason is that I did not include my email address in the application, i preferred to get a hard copy rather than the soft copy of Discover Canada. I added my email though online later on after i got my eCAS updated.
