Hi i just moved from MB to ON . I am an international student, applied for work permit, still waiting for it. My MB health card expires on june 30th as my study permit expires.

So if i go for consultation or health check up in toronto,, ? Do i need to pay comsultaion fee?
How should i take onatrio health card?
Is’nt health services free in ON as its in MB.

I dont know the rules of ON.. can some help please!?

There is a 3 month wait period until you get healthcare in Ontario. Once you have been working full-time for 6 months you qualify for OHIP. Then you would have to wait 3 months. You should consider purchasing emergency medical coverage until you get OHIP. Right now you would have to pay for any healthcare you receive.
